Who This Program Is For:
The Emerging Professionals Program is designed for design professionals who have graduated within the past five years, no matter where they are in their career journey. 

Graduation is a major milestone—but the journey into professional practice looks different for everyone. That’s why ASID has expanded the Emerging Professionals Program to include all individuals in the design industry who have graduated in the past five years. 
 
With discounted dues and tailored guidance, it’s designed to help more emerging professionals confidently take the next step in their careers.

Year 3 Quarterly Installment Option: $73.50
• This amount includes the annual $25 legislative fee and the annual $45 processing fee, which is evenly spread across the four payments.

Year 4 Quarterly Installment Option: $98.50
• This amount includes the annual $25 legislative fee and the annual $45 processing fee, which is evenly spread across the four payments.

Year 5 Quarterly Installment Option: $123.59
• This amount includes the annual $25 legislative fee and the annual $45 processing fee, which is evenly spread across the four payments.

Required Documentation for Practitioners 

Emerging Professionals can provide the documentation below to join ASID as one of the three Practitioner levels.  The Affiliate membership is for those that do not meet these requirements. 

• Professional Practitioners: Proof of passing the NCIDQ Exam, ARE, or another ASID-approved professional licensing examination. 

• Allied Practitioners: Unofficial college transcripts showing completion of 40 semester hours (or 60 quarter hours) of interior design or architecture coursework from a recognized accredited institution. 

• Associate Practitioners: Documentation of a degree in a field other than design plus six years of full-time interior design practice.
